Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Ridgeway collects, why, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email admin@ridgeway.cloud.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and sign-in information, handled by Google Firebase Authentication (including “Continue with Google” if you use it).
- Information you enter — the providers, values, contributions, goals and preferences you add to your dashboard.
- Linked accounts — if you connect a Trading 212 account, we store your API key encrypted and use it only to read your account value. We never place trades or move money.
- Questions to the assistant — messages you send to Ask Ridgeway are processed to generate a reply.
How we use it
To run your dashboard, keep values up to date, send alerts you have asked for, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it
We use trusted service providers to run Ridgeway: Google Firebase (hosting, sign-in and data storage), Anthropic (to answer questions in Ask Ridgeway), Yahoo Finance (market prices, which receive no personal data), and email/notification providers for alerts you switch on. Each processes data only to provide its service.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete providers, history and linked accounts at any time, and ask us to delete your account entirely.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in Google Cloud. Sensitive keys are encrypted on our servers and are never shown back in the app.
